A relaxed short-sleeve button-up cut from digitally printed linen in the Warped Gingham print. The pattern originates from a 2022 experiment made by physically moving gingham across a scanner bed, stretching and distorting the familiar check into an irregular field of lines. Recolored here in saturated blues, the print references the layered, shifting pattern of nerikomi clay.

The Hank Button Up is a classic Isabel Wilson shape and a recurring staple of the line. Cut with an easy, slightly oversized fit, the shirt has a relaxed camp collar, short sleeves, button-front closure, and a straight, loose drape through the body.

Printed on linen, the fabric has a dry, natural hand and subtle structure that softens with wear. The movement of the print shifts across the seams and panels, disrupting the familiarity of a traditional checked shirt.
