Collection: Isabel Wilson

Isabel Wilson is a Houston-based artist and designer working across clothing, ceramics, and textiles. Her practice moves fluidly between mediums, exploring the intersections of material, pattern, and form. Recent collections incorporate prints developed from scans of her nerikomi ceramics, translating layered clay compositions into textiles alongside imagery drawn from painting, collage, and other material experiments.

Produced locally in small weekly batches with a tailor in Houston's Bellaire neighborhood, the garments often make use of overstock and existing fabrics. The work follows an intuitive process, where distinctions between art, object, and clothing give way to a larger visual language.
