A full-length skirt cut from digitally printed linen in the Warped Gingham print. The pattern originates from a 2022 experiment made by physically moving gingham across a scanner bed, stretching and distorting the familiar check into an irregular field of lines. Recolored here in saturated blues, the print references the layered, shifting pattern of nerikomi clay.
The Helen Skirt is one of the line’s earliest silhouettes, first introduced in the 2014 collection and revisited season after season. Cut with a flat 1.5" waist band and generous volume through the body, the shape allows the linen to fall loosely and gives the warped pattern room to shift across the garment.
Printed on linen, the fabric has a dry, natural hand and subtle structure that softens with wear. An early Isabel Wilson shape paired with a print developed years later—bringing two ongoing parts of the line back together.
